Sydney Gonzales, MSW, LMSW

Associate Therapist

she/her
Hello, my name is Sydney Gonzales and I am an Associate Therapist at Center for Compassion. As a trauma survivor, I feel called upon to help others where they may feel stuck. Through personal experience and career exploration, I have witnessed the nature and impact of resilience and the strength that a heart expanded by suffering has the capacity to hold. Coping with loss is one of life’s biggest challenges. During these times it is vital that others meet us with kindness and compassion-with a place to rest our minds and hearts- so that we may begin to explore growth and personal transformation. There is power within our stories. As a trained listener, I enjoy exploring the narratives that we develop within those stories and how they impact the way we see the world, ourselves and our relationships. I am honored and look forward to accompanying and empowering you in your unique journey of growth and transformation.
