Kamilla Gabriel, MSW, LMSW
Associate Therapist
she/her
Hello, my name is Kamilla Gabriel, and I am an Associate Therapist at Center for Compassion. I was drawn to this work through my own experiences with death, trauma, and existential anxiety. Seasons of fear, grief, and deep sorrow, along with the disorientation that can follow profound loss, have shaped my understanding of the essential human need for connection and the quiet power that can emerge when we are witnessed and held with compassion in relationship.
If you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck, you are not alone. I understand that asking for help can be difficult, especially if you’ve learned to carry everything on your own. In our work together, we slow down and listen inward. We gently explore the stories and patterns held in your mind, body, and heart, creating space for self-understanding, integration, and a more connected relationship with your whole self.
My approach is person-centered and mindfulness-based, grounded in presence, attunement, and authentic relationship. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you are seen, heard, and respected and where all parts of your experience are welcomed with curiosity and care.
I have been guided to this work in honor and in memory of my beloved stepfather, Charlie.
