Hi! My name is Janel Halloff and I am an associate therapist at The Center for Compassion. I believe that with the proper support, a person can begin to rebuild, adjust, and make meaning out of their experiences and losses, all while continuing to honor and feel connected to their loved one along the way. I am passionate about helping others navigate through grief, loss, trauma, and life's many challenges. I have endured many losses of my own; however, the most significant death loss was that of my late husband, Chris, who died suddenly and unexpectedly in 2007. Leaving behind myself and our 2 year old daughter, his death forever changed the trajectory of my life. My calling is to guide others on their own grief journey when they find themselves needing to endure their own significant loss, and help them to understand they aren't alone.
